Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously. Manage bar operations efficiently by processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Figure POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; communicate supply needs to management proactively. Handle cash handling procedures responsibly while processing payments quickly during busy service times. Skills Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, and spirits. Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on bartending or bar management. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly without compromising quality or service speed. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in hospitality settings.
