Flores in Corte Magera is hiring for a bartender! General Job Description Perform all duties related to customer service involving the execution of food and beverage. Primary duties require a focus on all beverage related service and product inventory management. Responsibilities involve creating an experience for the guest that is memorable and one-of-a-kind. Works under general supervision. Exercises initiative and independent judgment when performing guest-related tasks. Completes delegated tasks and job functions when assigned by management. Job Activities Participates in daily pre-meal line-ups with team members and management personnel. Completes daily pre- and post- shift side work. Learns and understands all food-related product, including key ingredients, purveyor information, and allergy restrictions. Understands, studies, and sells all food and beverage-related products. Learns complete wine list, cocktail, beer, spirit list and after dinner menus to sell to guests in a strategic way. Comprehends spirit, beer, and non-alcoholic beer program to sell to guest in a strategic way. Builds rapport with guests and creates a dynamic experience with thoughtful and intuitive relationship building. Enters all guest orders in an accurate manner into the Toast and understands the timing of the kitchen to ensure proper delivery of dishes. Greets and converses guests in an authentic, genuine way while executing the Steps of Service correctly. Ability to perform all job duties including those responsibilities assigned to the host, food runner, and busser positions. Manages conflict and guest dissatisfaction with grace and professionalism. Always demonstrates courage and confidence with guests. Qualifications & Availability Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays Previous customer service experience preferred (restaurants, hotels, hospitality, or sales) Strong people skills, outward energy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Considerable knowledge of wine and spirits. Considerable experience in areas of fine dining and innovative food and beverage concepts. Genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction. Certifications Food Safety and RBS certification required If not currently certified, employee must complete certifications within 30 days of hire Responsibility Guest satisfaction through authentic, genuine hospitality Physical Job Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Remaining in a stationary position up to 80% of the time Frequently lifting and moving boxes, tables, umbrellas, chairs, and other items weighing up to 50 lbs Working outdoors on patios in varying weather conditions Exposure to hot kitchen areas and walk-in refrigerators or freezers Company Perks Competitive Salary/Pay We cover 100% of Health Insurance for staff averaging 28 hours weekly.
