The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, some knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and some experience working as a bartender and server. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Candidates with skills in POS systems, along with a background in food safety and hospitality, will thrive in this position. This position requires someone who is comfortable staying busy when it's slow and can strike up a conversation with our guests while they sit at the bar. Tips range from $20-$80 per shift and we are offering 4 shifts per week to start of approximately 6-7 hours per shift. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately using POS systems. Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math for transactions. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations. Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol service laws. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service. Uphold the establishment's standards for customer service, hospitality, and professionalism at all times. Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems Strong time management skills to self-manage during busy and slow times. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business schedule. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations. Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws and regulations is essential.
