Full Service Server/Beertender We are looking for a reliable, friendly and energetic craft beer Beertender/Server for our Fullerton tasting room. They must have the ability to multitask and work behind the bar as well as do full table service and take orders and serve orders to tables. We are first and foremost a craft brewery, and this position requires in depth knowledge of both craft beer styles and general knowledge of draught systems, changing kegs, cleaning lines, as well as knowledge of our own beers we brew. Additionally, we are offering food (at our Fullerton location) to complete the meal experience. You'll be the face of our brewery restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences. Server/beertender responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean, sanitized and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. Responsibilities Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and orders Able to communicate your knowledge of beer and our food menu to customers and answer questions Attend to customers upon entrance Present beer and food menus and help customers select beer/food Take and serve orders Ability to multitask and accomplish side work during shift Work well with other team members and hosts to make sure service and floor is running smoothly Be able to complete opening and closing procedures Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff and hosts Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills In depth knowledge and appreciation for Craft Beer. Minimum level 1 Cicerone craft beer server certification Current RBS California alcohol server certification Current CA safeserv/Food handler certification Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience Hands-on experience in cashier duties Minimum 1 year hospitality/serving/bartending experience Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment Ability to follow all COVID safety and health protocols and procedures
