Bartending Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Company:

Medrano's Mexican Restaurant is home to authentic, delicious Mexican food, tasty drinks, and a fun-filled atmosphere. Starting with one location in Lancaster, now with three Mexican restaurants in the Antelope Valley, we are a rapidly growing company. You should join our team as a Bartender.

Duties:

Greet guests in a positive, prompt, and attentive manner Verify identity for eligibility to purchase or consume alcohol Accurately take and prepare food and drink orders Clean glasses, utensils, and work area Organize and display inventory Answer questions, make food and drinks recommendations Respond appropriately to guest satisfaction issues Correctly itemize bills and collect payments; operate cash register Interact with coworkers in a friendly yet professional manner Follow restaurant policies, procedures, and managers' instructions Prepare receipts and financial reports at end of shift

Qualifications:

Experience required Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays Possess or obtain Food Handler certification Possess or obtain Responsible Beverage Service certification Honest, hardworking, prompt, team player, well-organized Able to thrive in a loud fast-paced environment Able to lift 30 lbs Bilingual Spanish preferred
