Job Description

Position Summary The Bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and applicable laws. Bartenders are expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, accurately process transactions, follow company policies, maintain regular and reliable attendance, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards. Verify guest identification and comply with all alcohol service laws and Responsible Beverage Service requirements. Provide professional, friendly, and attentive customer service. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately. Open and close customer tabs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, equipment, and workstations. Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies. Assist with opening and closing duties. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Accurately report tips and complete required end-of-shift procedures. Communicate inventory shortages, customer concerns, and operational issues to management. Accurately record all hours worked using the Company's timekeeping procedures. Clock in and out for shifts and meal periods as required. Follow attendance, scheduling, meal period, rest break, and workplace conduct policies. Report to work on time and work assigned shifts as scheduled. Qualifications Previous bartending experience preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktail preparation preferred. Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid California Responsible Beverage Service certification. Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, closing shifts, and special events as scheduled. Schedules are based on business needs, and specific shifts or days off are not guaranteed. Regular and reliable attendance is required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the bar area.
Pay:
$16.90 - $17.50 per hour
