Bartender / Server — Weekend Part-Time Monty's Dog Beach & Bar is seeking an experienced, energetic, and dependable Part-Time Bartender/Server to join our Front-of-House team for Saturday and Sunday shifts. We're looking for someone with restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience who understands that great service is about more than taking orders—it's about creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for every guest.

Biweekly Eligible employees participate in the restaurant's tip-pooling arrangement in accordance with Company policy and applicable law. Weekend business generally remains active throughout the year; however, schedules and hours may vary based on business volume, seasonality, staffing needs, weather, and other operational requirements. Responsibilities Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with applicable laws and Company procedures. Run food and assist other team members as needed. Bus, clean, and reset tables. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar, patio, and service area. Maintain ice, beverage ingredients, garnishes, and other service supplies. Restock beverages, bar supplies, paper goods, and inventory as needed. Complete assigned opening and closing duties. Follow responsible alcohol-service, food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures. Work cooperatively with bartenders, servers, kitchen staff, runners, and management. Provide consistent and professional service during both busy and slower periods. Assist throughout the operation as reasonably needed. Qualifications Previous bartending, serving, or other Front-of-House restaurant/hospitality experience preferred. Must possess or obtain required California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and applicable Food Handler Card within required timeframes. Weekend availability on both Saturday and Sunday is required. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Strong communication and customer-service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively and take direction. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail. Professional, respectful, and guest-focused demeanor. Genuine interest in providing welcoming and attentive hospitality.
