Full Job Description SUMMARY:
Responsible for mixing and pouring drinks and performing other bar and restaurant related duties while providing outstanding service in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Greet the guests with warm welcome 2. Ensure customer satisfaction by handling bar transactions in a fast, efficient, and friendly manner 3. Ring drink orders, collect payment, and make correct change 4. Responsible for following hotel's cash handling procedures 5. Assist in F&B inventories as directed 6. Mix, garnish and pour drinks according to standard recipes or portions, referring to recipe cards as needed 7. Perform server functions for all food orders as directed 8. Perform hosting functions when necessary 9. Use the

Model for all guest recovery incidents that occur (Listen, Empathize, Apologize, React, Notify) 10. Always have a friendly and welcoming demeanor when interacting with our guests 11. Make patrons feel welcomed using clear and enthusiastic language 12. Anticipate patron's needs and act on them 13. Replenish bar supplies as needed. Organize and stock the bar, liquor storage and wine cabinets daily 14. Keep workstation clean and well organized 15. Wash and sterilize stemware 16. Work with others to keep all areas clean and stocked 17. Follow all policies for the responsible service of alcohol 18. Complete certification for alcohol training 19. Complete food safety certification if applicable 20. Prepare food according to brand and food safety standards if applicable 21. Ensure guests are completely satisfied by quickly resolving any complaints and notifying the manager so they can ensure guest satisfaction as well 22. If a guest has consumed too much alcohol or is disturbing other guests, notify the manager immediately to ease the situation 23. Responsible for following all hotel quality assurance standards for department 24. Notify the Supervisor, Operations Manager, AGM or General Manager of any problems with cleaning or equipment 25. Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisor/manager or designated area in a timely manner 26. Responsible for knowing all hotel emergency procedures 27. Follow all hotel safety guidelines and requirements 28. Responsible for the proper administration of keys left by guests 29. Bring all lost and found items to the supervisor's or manager's office for logging and storage 30. Accommodate guest special requests courteously 31. Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services. 32.
