The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that our bartenders are fully prepared for service before guests arrive. The Barback will be responsible for pulling and organizing beverage inventory for multiple bars, preparing garnishes, stocking bar supplies, and assisting with the overall setup and replenishment of each bar . This role is essential to creating a smooth and efficient service by making sure bartenders have everything they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences from the moment the bar opens. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and locations. Key Responsibilities Pull and organize liquor, beer, wine, mixers, juices, syrups, and other beverage inventory for multiple bars based on the event BEO and bar requirements. Ensure each bar receives the correct products and quantities prior to service. Prepare and cut all required garnishes, including citrus wheels, wedges, twists, and other specialty garnishes. Prepare and organize bar tools, glassware, napkins, straws, ice, mixers, and other necessary supplies. Stock and arrange each bar. Double-check bar setups against event requirements to ensure nothing is missing. Assist with transporting inventory and supplies to various event locations throughout the property. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked back-of-house beverage areas. Monitor inventory levels throughout events and replenish bars as needed. Assist bartenders during service by restocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and other supplies. Communicate quickly with the Captain regarding shortages, missing items, or unexpected needs. Assist with breakdown and proper return of all beverage inventory following events. Ensure unopened product is returned to the appropriate storage location and that all inventory is handled according to property procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, storage areas, carts, and equipment. Follow all responsible alcohol service, safety, sanitation, and property standards. Work closely with Captains, Bartenders, Kitchen, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution. Perform other duties as assigned to support the banquet operation. What We're Looking For Previous barback, banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and anticipate the needs of the bartending team. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when pulling inventory. Ability to read and understand BEOs and event instructions. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and move beverage cases, kegs, ice, and other supplies. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules.
