Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and assist with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative. Handle cash handling duties with precision, including processing payments and giving accurate change. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including catering events . Uphold all health regulations related to alcohol service, food safety, and responsible beverage service practices. Experience Proven bartending experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume venues such as nightclubs or banquet settings. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beers, spirits, and beverage presentation. Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle diverse guest needs professionally. Experience in food service or restaurant environments that require multitasking under pressure. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for inventory management, and food industry knowledge. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is preferred. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in beverage preparation and customer interactions. Pay:
$17.00 - $17.25 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
