We are passionate about creating memorable dining experiences through authentic cuisine, unique wines, handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality. We're looking for experienced bartenders who take pride in their craft, enjoy connecting with guests, and want to be part of a team that introduces Georgian culture and flavors to our community.
The Role:
As a Bartender at Deda, you will be an important part of the guest experience — creating high-quality cocktails, sharing knowledge of Georgian wines and beverages, and providing warm, attentive service. You'll be responsible for maintaining a welcoming bar environment, preparing beverages with consistency and care, and supporting smooth restaurant operations during service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve craft cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages according to restaurant standards. Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to guests seated at the bar. Guide guests through our beverage program, including Georgian wines, cocktails, and menu pairings. Maintain knowledge of spirits, ingredients, recipes, and current beverage offerings. Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and accuracy of all drinks. Take guest orders and accurately enter items into the POS system. Handle payments and close checks accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout service. Complete opening and closing duties, including stocking, cleaning, and preparation. Monitor inventory needs and communicate product shortages. Follow responsible alcohol service practices and company policies. Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management. Support teammates during high-volume service. What We're Looking For Previous bartending experience in a restaurant. Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverage preparation. Interest in Georgian wine and cuisine — training will be provided. Ability to create a welcoming and engaging guest experience. Professional, positive attitude with strong teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Strong attention to cleanliness and detail. Ability to stand and move for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs. Food Handler certification required (or willingness to obtain). Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required (or willingness to obtain). weekend availability required.
