Service Bartender

The service or well bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages exclusively for cocktail servers to take to customers, rather than interacting directly with customers at the bar . This role focuses on speed, accuracy, and efficiency to support the front-of-house team, usually by working at a dedicated 'service well'. We are looking for someone personable, engaging and with speed. This position involves Saturday and sundays. Please do not apply if you do not have complete weekend availability inlcuding saturdays and sundays.

Core Responsibilities Drink Preparation:

Mix, garnish, and serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes and in a timely manner.

Service Bar Management:

Focus on filling ticket orders from server stations efficiently during high-volume service.

Inventory & Stocking:

Restock liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and glassware in the service well.

Cleaning & Maintenance:

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized service station, including cleaning tools and washing glassware.

Order Accuracy:

Ensure all drinks match the tickets produced by the Point of Sale (POS) system and meet quality standards. Preparation (Pre-Shift): Slice fruit, prepare garnishes, and prep juices/mixes before service.

Requirements & Skills Proven Experience:

requires 2-3 years of previous experience as a bartender, as this is a high-speed role.

Speed and Efficiency:

Ability to produce high volumes of drinks quickly without errors.

Recipe Knowledge:

Strong understanding of classic cocktails and standard restaurant drink recipes.

Multitasking:

Managing multiple server tickets simultaneously.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.

Communication:

Effective communication with servers, managers, and bar staff.
