Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere while serving drinks. This role requires experience in handling cash registers and knowledge of food safety and handling practices. The Bartender will work primarily in a daytime lunch setting, ensuring that guests enjoy their experience through excellent service and expertly crafted beverages. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate cash register, process payments, and manage tabs for guests. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service. Engage with customers to provide recommendations based on their preferences. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Stay updated on drink trends and new recipes to enhance the beverage menu. Qualifications Previous bartending experience is required. Familiarity with Toast POS is an advantage. Strong understanding of food safety practices and responsible alcohol service. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
