Job Description
Part-Time / Event-Based Dante Event Center is seeking an experienced Bartender to support our high‑volume weddings, corporate events, galas, and private celebrations. We're looking for someone who is professional, guest‑focused, and thrives in a fast-paced banquet environment. Responsibilities Provide friendly, efficient bar service during events (30-600 guests) Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and specialty drinks Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, restocking, and closing procedures Follow all alcohol service laws and venue policies Work closely with banquet staff to ensure smooth event flow Handle cash/credit transactions accurately when required Deliver exceptional hospitality and maintain a polished, professional demeanor Qualifications Bartending experience in events, catering, banquet halls, restaurants, or bars Knowledge of standard cocktails, wine, and beer service Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills Must be dependable, organized, and calm under pressure Current CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required (or ability to obtain) Event-based schedule; shifts vary depending on bookings.
