Job Description
Overview Join our vibrant hospitality team as a talented and energetic Bartender! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored properly following food safety standards. Operate POS systems to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining efficient service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with health regulations; handle food safety procedures diligently. Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or banquet events, ensuring timely delivery. Collaborate with team members to manage busy periods effectively while demonstrating excellent time management skills. Requirements Proven experience in bartending within fine dining or hospitality settings; cocktail experience and mixology skills are essential. Knowledge of POS systems for processing transactions efficiently. Strong understanding of beverage recipes, wine knowledge, spirits, craft beer, and beverage recipe development. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; ability to engage guests positively. Experience with food handling, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail. Previous restaurant and bar experience is preferred. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including cashiering, serving, food safety protocols, and bar management is highly desirable
Schedule:
Thursday through Sunday, 3:30 PM to close. Applicants must have consistent availability for these shifts.What We're Looking For:
- Prior bartending experience in a busy, high-volume bar or restaurant required
- Friendly, energetic, and comfortable in a busy sports bar environment
- Strong knowledge of beer, cocktails, martinis, wine, and basic drink preparation
- Ability to multitask and provide fast, attentive service
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable handling high-volume nights and weekend crowds
- Must meet California requirements for serving alcohol
- Available to start
ASAP Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Provide friendly and efficient service to bar guests
- Take orders and process payments accurately
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar
- Follow responsible alcohol service and food-safety procedures
- Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and side work as needed
