General Job Summary The Barback's onsite role is to unload, load, distribute, and replenish beverages and other items for bars and bartenders in a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner while offering detail-oriented, personalized service. Classification Non-Exempt (Hourly) Pay $19.67 - $22.67 Job Summary Assist with bar operations by stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the bar runs smoothly during events. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Stock and restock bars with beverages, ice, glassware, and other supplies throughout shifts. Lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) such as kegs, cases of beverages, and ice buckets. Push and pull carts loaded with supplies to and from storage areas. Assist bartenders in maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked work environment. Dispose of trash and recyclables and clean up spills to ensure safety and cleanliness. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management. Operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting while staying attentive to bar needs. Support setup and breakdown of bars for events as needed. Qualifications Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. frequently. Comfortable standing, walking, and being on your feet for long periods of time. Previous experience as a Barback or in a similar physically demanding role preferred but not required. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation to and from work.
