Job Description
Pagan Idol - Barback Pagan Idol is a tropical bar in the Financial District of San Francisco that hosts daily tiki escapes for travelers by crafting experiences and cocktails to the backdrop of our sunken ship and tropical island. If you like island vibes and enjoy giving excellent customer service, the barback position at Pagan Idol may be right for you. We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. Most shifts will be between 3 pm and 3 am. Responsibilities Assist bartenders with daily service Maintain overall bar cleanliness Prepare batches and other cocktail ingredients Wash and organize glassware Retrieve and keep adequate levels of bar stock Clean as part of opening and closing duties Qualifications Previous kitchen prep experience is required Previous experience as barback or barista is preferred Strong attention to detail Able to follow directions Basic math skills or an ability to use a calculator and understand proportions Good interpersonal skills Has or is willing to obtain a CA Food Handler's Certification and RBS training required 21+ years of age or older Able to work Tuesday, Friday and Saturday Benefits Hourly rate SF minimum + tips Company-sponsored medical/dental/vision benefits are offered to all qualifying employees Matching 401(k) is offered to qualifying employees Future Bars Group is an at-will, equal-opportunity employer.
