Duties Prepare and serve a diverse selection of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beer, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions with precision. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Develop new beverage recipes and contribute creative ideas to expand our drink menu. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and other bar supplies; assist with stock ordering as needed. Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service during busy hours, including catering events or banquet functions. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or hospitality settings; previous bar management experience is a plus. Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine varieties, cocktail mixing techniques, and beverage recipe development. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse clientele. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service. Food safety certification and knowledge of food handling procedures are preferred. Experience working with craft beers, wine knowledge, mixology techniques, and beverage presentation standards. Ability to process cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; basic math proficiency is essential. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments; catering or banquet experience is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices within the hospitality industry.
