Rodeo Room is a high end craft cocktail lounge, with an emphasis on whiskey cocktails. We also have a kitchen serving elevated bar bites. Open Thurs-Mon 5-midnight, 1 am on the weekends. We value creativity in our staff, and all members of bar team take part of cocktail creation! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mixology skills while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, we are the place for you! MUST have extensive experience with classic and craft bartending, as well as prep ie infusions, syrups, etc. Minimum of 2-3 years experience. Experience with toast systems a plus! Pay starting at min + great tips!! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of drinks and specials. Manage POS systems-experience with TOAST a plus Maintain a clean, organized bar area adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; assist in stock replenishment as needed. Ensure compliance with all licensing laws regarding serving alcohol responsibly and recognizing signs of intoxication. Collaborate with team members during busy shifts, including catering events or banquet functions, to deliver seamless service. Handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills; perform cashiering duties when necessary. Demonstrate excellent time management to balance multiple orders while providing attentive customer service in lively nightclub or restaurant settings. Uphold a positive atmosphere by managing conflicts professionally and ensuring guest safety at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fast paced environment Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally in a bar environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques required Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
