Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring an outstanding customer experience. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, billing, and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations, following health standards. Monitor guest consumption levels responsibly, ensuring compliance with alcohol laws and promoting safe drinking practices. Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions as needed, providing seamless beverage service during large gatherings or private parties. Handle cash transactions efficiently, balancing registers at shift end while demonstrating strong basic math skills. Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to coordinate food and beverage service during special events or nightclub functions. Experience Previous experience working as a bartender in a hotel, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests in a lively yet professional manner. Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Experience in fine dining environments or catering is advantageous. Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service. Familiarity with retail math for cash handling and sales transactions is essential.
