Overview The Buccaneer Lounge, located in the quaint town of Sierra Madre, is looking for a highly dependable Bar Back/Busser to join our crew. Hours are 10pm-2am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We're a longtime neighborhood bar, owned by the same family for almost 40 years, with a fun, relaxed atmosphere, friendly regulars, and a great group of customers who enjoy coming in and being part of "The Buc." We're a busy weekend bar with live music, a lot of personality and a deep history in the town. The ideal candidate will be someone with a mature, pleasant personality who enjoys working around people and understands that keeping a bar running smoothly takes teamwork, hustle, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed. This is a great position for someone with bar or restaurant experience who enjoys working in a lively environment and takes pride in their contribution to the success of each night.

What You'll Do:

Keep the bar stocked and ready for service. Restock beer, liquor, ice, glassware and supplies. Clear glasses and clean tables throughout the night. Keep the bar and customer areas clean and organized. Take out trash and recycling. Assist in checking ID's when needed. Communicate effectively with bartenders in a fast-paced environment. Assist with closing duties.

What We're Looking For:

Mature, responsible and dependable individual. Previous bar, restaurant or hospitality experience. Punctual and reliable - we need someone we can count on . Able to work quickly and stay productive during busy nights. Comfortable being on your feet and doing physical work. Team player with good attitude - friendly and respectful with patrons and coworkers. Able to take direction and anticipate what needs to be done.
