Job Description
Football season is here, and we're staffing up! Uncle Bob's is a neighborhood restaurant that has been a staple for 12 years . Fall is our busiest stretch of the year, and we're looking for a bartender/server who's done this before and actually likes the pace. What you'll be doing Working the bar and the floor — pouring, building tickets, running food, reading the room Keeping regulars happy and turning first-timers into regulars Handling game-day volume without losing your rhythm or your attitude Keeping your bar clean, stocked, and set up so the next shift doesn't inherit a mess What we're looking for Real experience. At least 1-2 years behind a bar or on a busy floor. You know how to build a drink without a cheat sheet, work a POS without slowing down, and handle a full bar top and a section at the same time. Open availability. This is the big one. Nights, weekends, holidays — Sundays especially. We need people who can flex when the schedule demands it, not people who can only work Tuesday lunch. If your availability is tight, this probably isn't the right fit. A great attitude. We can teach a menu. We can't teach someone to be pleasant at 9pm on a Sunday when the bar is three deep. We want people who show up on time, take feedback, back up their coworkers, and treat guests like they want them coming back. The basics. 21+, valid California Food Handler card and RBS alcohol server certification (or willing to get both before your first shift). What we offer Real money during football season — our best shifts are the ones you'll be working A crew that actually likes each other, and management that shows up and works alongside you Room to grow — we promote from within, and we're expanding
