Bartenders, Barbacks, Bar Prep Coin Op Game Room_Temecula Temecula, CA Job Details Temporary From $16.90 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Food handling Interpersonal skills Customer service Making change Retail math Guest services Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Coin-Op Game Room_Temecula is seeking seasonal part time employees. Employment will start the second week of November and run through January 5th. We will be holding interviews the first week of October through the third week of October. Please submit a resume and we will be in touch to set up an interview. All Bartenders, barbacks and bar preps must have a valid food handlers card.
Bartenders:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons, using proper techniques and procedures set by management Exhibit hospitality and bar/food knowledge when interacting with customer Assess customers' needs/preferences and make recommendations Serve guests responsibly, knowing when to stop serving intoxicated guests Perform proper cash-handling procedures, ensuring there is no company theft Keep the bar clean and stocked for service; be a team player and communicate how to keep bar standards high Be an agent of hospitality for the company; be informed on Coin-Op's offerings, events, operations Maintain a clean workspace Help open/close bar and perform cleaning duties Attend beverage education classes and quarterly meetings to stay updated on company policies The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Experience:
3 months to 1 year of experience Be of legal age to serve alcohol Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and provide correct change Excellent verbal and written communication Problem solving Active listening
Adaptability Barbacks:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure game floor is clean; keep liquor, glassware, juice and garnish stocked as needed With permission of bartender, prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons, using proper techniques and procedures set by management Display hospitality and bar/food knowledge when interacting with customers Assess customers' needs/preferences and make recommendations Serve guests responsibly, knowing when to stop serving intoxicated guests Perform proper cash-handling procedures, ensuring there is no company theft Keep the bar clean and stocked for service; be a team player and communicate how to keep bar standards high Be an agent of hospitality for the company; be informed on Coin-Op's offerings, events, operations Maintain a clean work space Help open/close bar and perform cleaning duties Attend beverage education classes and quarterly meetings to stay updated on company policies The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Adaptability Bar Preps:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee day-to-day set up of the Bar for serviceCoordinate prep with receiving and putting away daily ordersChecking freshness and quality of ingredients and verifying right amounts ordered and receivedPreparing garnishes, juices, syrups, batchesKeeping all aspects of the bar organized and clean for service, setting up bar stations.

General stocking, cleaning and organization of workspaces and bar areaWork and communicate with management daily about orders, set up, maintenance ect.

Ability to take directionBasic knowledge of simple kitchen tools (knife, etc) Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
