Job Description

BUSPERSON
Must be physically strong and able to balance a service tray on shoulder. Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team. Must be able to obtain Food Handlers Card. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Any and all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or department head. Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
About the role:
Supplies the dining room and individual guest tables with clean china, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper supplies as needed. Removes dirty dishes, soiled linen, glassware and silver from table and counter tops, then carries items back to the dishwashing area. Refills water glasses and other beverages as required. May also assist Waitperson in carrying orders to the tables. Replenishes condiments, coffee, tea and refrigerated items used in the dining room. Resets table and perform other related duties as requested by the Waitperson. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Pay:
$17.50 an hour plus tips
BARBACK:
Our ideal candidate :
  • Six months previous experience as a Bartender or Bar Helper preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain RBS and Food Handlers Card.
  • Minimum of one-year customer service experience in a previous position, where the primary job duty is direct customer service is preferred.
  • Previous money-handling and cash register experience is preferred.
  • Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift.
  • Must be able to communicate with guests to meet their immediate needs.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Must present a well-groomed appearance.
About the role:
  • Cleans bar area, including bar tops, sinks, glasses, refrigerators, and other bar appliances.
  • Stocks bar daily and as needed.
Acknowledges, greets, and converses with customers who approach the bar. Assisting bartenders with taking customer orders and processing orders in the point-of-sale system during peak business hours. Manually pushes cart loaded with alcohol to the Tierra y Mar restaurant at least twice during shift. Ensuring that taps, coolers, and other appliances like blenders or coffee makers are working properly; troubleshooting simple malfunctions as needed. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Responsible for preparation of garnishes, syrups, and all bar related items.
A few more things:
  • Must be able to work inside assigned bar area in the casino/hotel.
  • Must be able to lift items up to 175 pounds and manually push up to 650 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, pull and carry bar stock to refrigerators and cabinets.
  • Must be able to use hand motion when preparing and pouring all types of drinks for customers and cocktail servers.
  • Must be able to use hand motion when cleaning and wiping bar counters.
  • Must be able to complete required paperwork for cash transactions.
  • Must be able to operate cash register, carts, juice, soda and liquor guns, cutting boards, coffee and frozen drink machines, ice machines, shot glasses, mixers, pourers, blenders, beer keg/soda/wine/juice hook-ups and knives.
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

CASHIER HOST
Literacy and fluency in English Must be able to obtain a San Diego County Food Handler's card. Previous experience as a host preferred; previous reservation systems experience preferred. Above average communication and interactive skills Legible handwriting Excellent computer skills Excellent guest service skills Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
About the role:
Greets restaurant guests in a friendly and courteous manner. Processing cash handling transactions and to go orders. Arranges for prompt seating of guests in order of arrival or availability of seating accommodations. Quotes accurate waiting times, and seats guests when tables are available. Assists in identifying casino comps, hotel, and VIP guests for seating; communicates with comp authorizer (signer) regarding any comp charges by the compee. Maintains cleanliness of menus. Familiarizes self with hotel/casino so that accurate directions can be given to guests who inquire. Maintains the appropriate supplies needed for the proper performance of duties. Prepares multiple reports. Responds to telephone calls. Able to communicate with servers regarding guests' preferences or special needs. Use open table platform for guest reservations and management of guest flow. Also, manages equity of tables for servers.

$18.50 an hour
