This role is ideal for a service-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position focuses on team management, service standards, and operational excellence—but does not include responsibilities for ordering, or vendor relations , which are managed by other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, schedule, and supervise the bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during all shifts. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure consistent execution of existing drink recipes and service protocols. Act as the point person for bar operations during service, resolving guest issues and team challenges in real-time. Support onboarding and continued training of new bar staff to meet service standards. Monitor bar opening and closing procedures to ensure quality and consistency. Collaborate with the Beverage Director and General Manager to communicate team feedback and operational needs. Manage shift changes, tip-outs, and timekeeping to ensure accountability and fairness. Uphold and model hospitality-focused service that reflects our brand standards.Requirements:
3+ years of bartending experience, with 1+ years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of bar operations, service flow, and guest interaction best practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Familiarity with POS systems and basic back-of-house admin (e.g. scheduling, team communication). A collaborative mindset and willingness to execute a shared vision set by other departments. Experience in high-volume or elevated hospitality environments. Familiarity with California alcohol service laws and certifications (e.g. RBS).Job Type:
