- Responsible for following designated opening/closing procedures for the restaurant, to include housekeeping functions for restaurant, bar, and restroom areas
- Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock
- Complete side work duties to ensure the restaurant is ready for service
- Engage with guests, helping as needed to ensure their needs are met
- Clean and clear tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bus stations to include removal of trash, recycling, composting
- Move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist elsewhere as business volumes and staff levels demand
- Other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation & Experience Requirements
- Prior guest service experience is preferred
- Prior work experience in a restaurant is preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding on how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing to team members and customers
- Proficient written and verbal communication English skills, Spanish a plus
- Ability to work under stressful circumstances
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
- Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goalsAdditional InformationWork Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
