Job Description

Under the supervision of the Beverage Shift Supervisor, the Bartender completes all set-up duties on time and maintains a high standard of cleanliness to MPGE bar areas as well as serving guests and servers according to established policies. The primary responsibility is to ensure excellent guest experiences are maintained at all times. In joining our team, you commit to supporting this mission by demonstrating our customer service standards at all times. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Minimum of one (1) year in high-volume bartending or a bartending certification with six (6) months of customer service experience. TIPS or SMART certification and ServSafe, Sanitation and Safety certifications required. Must have a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor at all times. Must possess an extensive understanding of spirits, wine, beer, garnishes, glassware and beverage service techniques. The Bartender is regularly required to lift/carry/pull/push weights over 50 pounds. Working during weekends, holidays and peak business periods is required, including working any shift/day designated by the Food and Beverage department.
