Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks that enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Manage multiple orders efficiently through excellent time management and multitasking skills. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep menus fresh and exciting. Collaborate with kitchen staff during food service to ensure seamless delivery of food and drinks during busy periods. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to ensure safety. Handle cash, credit card payments, and process tips accurately while maintaining a positive attitude. Assist in bar management tasks including inventory control, stock ordering, and maintaining proper beverage storage. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, craft beer, and spirits. Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments like fine dining or restaurant settings. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders smoothly during peak hours. Experience with beverage recipe development to create innovative drinks that delight guests. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling of food and beverages. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests while maintaining a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Previous hospitality industry experience including banquet or catering service is highly desirable. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and inventory management.
