Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and health regulations. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Operate Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order entry and payment processing efficiently. Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting low stock levels as needed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and catering events. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments. Stay informed about drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance sales opportunities. Qualifications Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings. Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that encourages repeat business. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills required for accurate cash handling and sales transactions. Experience in brewing or cocktail preparation is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
