Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experience by crafting high-quality beverages and providing attentive service. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards. Engage with guests to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their drink selections. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist in ordering supplies when necessary. Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure compliance with health standards. Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to provide seamless service. Stay updated on industry trends, new cocktails, and beverage offerings to enhance guest experiences. Qualifications Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage preparation. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and guest engagement. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must possess food handling certification or be willing to obtain it upon hiring. A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service is essential.
