Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take drink orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and promptness. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards. Manage POS system, TOAST, and handle cash with precision. Maintain a clean and organized bar area. Engage with customers to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend drinks based on preferences. Monitor guest behavior to ensure a safe environment, and handle any issues professionally. Manage time effectively during busy periods by prioritizing tasks such as serving food and drinks, processing payments, and restocking supplies. Follow all food handling procedures and safety regulations related to alcohol service, including checking IDs for legal drinking age. Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties like giving change and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender is highly preferred. Familiarity with Toast is prefered Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle challenging situations gracefully. Demonstrated time management skills to juggle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing. Experience in food industry roles such as serving is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days in a fast-paced environment.
