Job Description
General Summary The Bartender will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. Bartender will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. The Requirements As a Bartender, we would love you to have: High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years experience required Meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol Dependability-job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Basic math and computer skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Team player is MUST Strong task and time management abilities Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 30 lbs. Maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in difficult -situations.
