Peninsula Golf and Country Club , located in Millsboro, DE , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Barback ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, and maintains inventory records. Assists with inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products. Communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed. Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Bartender and/or Department Manager. Performs opening and closing duties, which include, but are not limited to: inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking. Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes the Point of Sales System. Assists with the setup and breakdown of portable bars and other catered events. On occasion, serves meals to guests. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.
