Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and responsible alcohol service protocols. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol levels to ensure smooth operations during busy hours. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate food and beverage service during events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold all licensing laws related to alcohol service, including checking IDs and refusing service when appropriate. Qualifications Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or hospitality settings; cocktail expertise required. Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience essential. Strong understanding of beverage recipes, mixology techniques, wine knowledge, brewing processes, and spirits. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts using strong organizational skills. Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling standards preferred. Previous experience with beverage recipe development or beverage crafting is a plus. Familiarity with food industry standards including banquet service, catering support, retail math, basic math skills, and cashiering procedures.
