Bartender The RCC at Palmira | Bonita Springs, FL The Renaissance Center Club (RCC) at Palmira is seeking an experienced, personable, and service-focused Bartender to join our Bistro team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails and understands the importance of providing attentive, personalized service in a private community club environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards. Prepare service-bar beverages, including cocktails, wine pours, tasting flights, and specialty drinks. Welcome members and guests and provide friendly, attentive, and professional service. Answer questions about the Bistro's food and beverage menus and make thoughtful recommendations. Accurately take orders, process transactions, and manage member charges using the POS system. Anticipate members' needs and properly communicate food allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests. Verify identification and comply with all Florida alcoholic beverage laws. Recognize signs of intoxication and responsibly refuse or discontinue alcohol service when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, properly stocked, and sanitary bar area. Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and preparation duties. Maintain current knowledge of the Bistro's wine, beer, liquor, cocktail, and food offerings. Assist with ideas for seasonal drink menus, weekly beverage features, and cocktail specials. Work collaboratively with the culinary, service, and management teams. Follow all RCC policies and state health, sanitation, and liquor regulations. Help create a warm, welcoming Bistro atmosphere while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous bartending experience required. Private club, resort, or upscale casual dining experience preferred. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and classic and contemporary cocktails. Strong communication and member-service skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Experience using restaurant or club POS systems. Ability to remain composed, organized, and attentive in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team. ServSafe certification required; certification may be completed within 30 days of hire if needed. Physical and Scheduling Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
