Full Job Description Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests by preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong knowledge of mixology, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders promptly
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to customer preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
• Upsell drink orders and promote specials or featured items
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and beverage pairings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
• Proficient in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling purposes
• Knowledge of food handling safety procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere
