As a Bartender, you will be a key ambassador of the Origen brand, delivering personalized service while showcasing our curated tequila and mezcal selections, handcrafted cocktails, wine program, and vibrant dining atmosphere. Origen is known for its coastal Mexican-inspired cuisine, agave-forward cocktail program, rooftop experiences, and memorable nights out, making the bartender role critical to our success. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to every guest. Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards. Demonstrate expert knowledge of spirits, tequila, mezcal, cocktails, wine, and menu offerings. Make recommendations and educate guests on beverage pairings and specialty offerings. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional bar environment. Accurately enter orders and process payments through the POS system. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible alcohol service. Prepare garnishes, mixers, syrups, and fresh ingredients for service. Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and restocking throughout shifts. Collaborate with servers, bar backs, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service. Support rooftop and special event service as needed. Complete opening, closing, and side work duties with attention to detail. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in an upscale casual, fine dining, or high-volume hospitality setting preferred. Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, craft cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, tequila, and mezcal. Excellent communication, sales, and guest engagement skills. Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and polished demeanor. Strong mathematical and cash-handling skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Experience in luxury dining, resort, rooftop, or destination-style hospitality concepts. Advanced knowledge of agave spirits, cocktail development, and beverage pairings.
