Lounge 1 Bartender

Pink Shell Resort is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for mixology and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional experience. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. Duties Greets customers and presents beverage menus in a prompt and professional manner Provides recommendations and answers all related inquiries Ensures identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age Receives orders from serving staff or directly from customers Records all orders Aloha system correctly Balances the bank at the start and close of each shift Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes Mixes and prepares fruits for garnishing drinks Serves food and beverage to customers seated at the bar Maintains and reports equipment problems as needed Complies with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies Monitors inventory Clears and resets tables in bar areas Performs side work during shift as well as at the start and end of each shift Maintains a clean service area Provides bill to guest and collects payment through Aloha system Ensures all opening and closing duties are performed to standard Declares tips according to IRS standards Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or fine dining environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
