Compensation:
$11.00 to $12.00 per hour plus tips The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages for guests and ensuring that all guests are served to company standards in the restaurant/dining areas. You will be focused on optimizing each guest's experience by living out our company purpose of "hospitality from our family to yours".Job Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests and present menus in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, and effectively communicate options to guests.
- Inform guests of daily specials and any menu changes.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary needs.
- Input orders into the POS system promptly and accurately.
- Engage with guests to address questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with brand standards and presentation guidelines.
- Anticipate guest needs by monitoring dining activity (e.g., offering refills, clearing finished plates, presenting checks).
- Process guest payments, issue receipts, and ensure correct billing procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, bar area, barback, and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other hotel departments to support a smooth service flow.
- Adhere to proper food rotation procedures to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Stock and replenish bar supplies, garnishes, and food items as needed.
- Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Prepare alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion standards.
- Monitor guest behavior and exercise sound judgment when determining whether to continue alcohol service.
- Maintain accurate temperature and waste logs in accordance with safety and health guidelines.
- Receive and inspect bar deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Fulfill internal beverage orders per restaurant or event specifications.
- Reset bar and tables at guest departure and at end of shift.
- Ensure all alcoholic beverage stations remain attended at all times.
- Greet every guest with a friendly smile and positive attitude throughout the shift.
- Follow hotel procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Collaborate with other departments to address guest concerns or service needs.
- Promote guest and team safety by adhering to established security protocols, including emergency response, key control, and confidentiality standards.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures; report accidents, injuries, or hazards to management, and complete required safety training and certifications.
- Must maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to meet evolving business demands.
