We're looking for an experienced bartender who can deliver warm, attentive service while confidently handling a busy bar. This is a part-time position starting at two to three shifts per week—typically two shifts one week and three the next. Additional hours may become available for someone who performs well and becomes a strong part of the team. What you'll do: Prepare and serve kava, kratom beverages, botanical cocktails, kombucha, and other specialty drinks Welcome guests and help create the friendly, community-driven experience Kava Garden is known for Explain our products clearly and responsibly to guests who may be new to botanical beverages Manage multiple guests and orders efficiently during high-volume periods Serve food and coordinate the complete guest experience Process payments accurately and responsibly Restock, clean, and maintain an organized bar and service area Handle the varied responsibilities that come with working on a small, lean team What we're looking for: High-volume bartending experience is required Warm, welcoming, and genuinely comfortable connecting with people Fast, organized, and composed under pressure Strong multitasking and time-management skills Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently Willing to serve food, clean, restock, and help wherever needed Interested in non-alcoholic hospitality, wellness, or botanical beverages Kava or kratom knowledge is helpful but not required—we will train the right person This is a great fit for a bartender who loves hospitality but is interested in an environment centered on connection, wellness, and alternatives to alcohol.
