Job Overview Join us at Ivy on the Square as a bartender! We are looking for someone with a working knowledge of a wide array of common cocktails and more exquisite libations. We specifically are interested in someone social who will connect and get to know our many regulars that frequent our bar on a regular basis. This is a full liquor bar with a service well for server drinks as well, busier shifts will include the aid of a barback. Someone open to being crosstrained and additionally utilized on the floor as a server would also be welcome! Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business. Manage POS systems on toast POS to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash transactions securely. Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, and bar supplies; place orders as needed to ensure stock availability. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, including special events like banquets or nightclub nights. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Toast POS for seamless order processing. Proven bartending skills with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development. Deep understanding of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and cocktail crafting to deliver expert recommendations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours. Experience in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper cash handling practices. Pay:
$25.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 35.0 per week
