Duties Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met. Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items. Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, tracking consumption, and communicating needs to management. Operate POS system Toast to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining cash handling procedures. Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails to keep the menu fresh and exciting. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, alcohol regulations, and cleanliness protocols at all times. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy hours, special events, or banquets, ensuring smooth operations. Maintain a thorough understanding of beverage offerings including wine knowledge, brewing techniques, cocktail mixology, and spirits expertise. Process cash transactions efficiently while providing excellent customer service in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or catering events. Experience Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings with a strong focus on customer service. Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems for efficient order processing. Skilled in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine pairing, and spirits knowledge. Experience working with food safety standards and handling food or beverages responsibly. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak hours. Previous roles involving bar management or supervising bar staff are a plus but not required. Familiarity with hospitality industry practices including cash handling, retail math, catering services, and food industry standards is highly desirable.
