Job Description
Rose & Ivy is looking for talented, hospitality-driven Bartenders to join our team. We're looking for someone who understands that great bartending is about more than making drinks. It's about creating an experience — knowing your guests, anticipating their needs, delivering exceptional cocktails, and bringing energy to the room.
THE ROLE
As a Bartender at Rose & Ivy, you'll be responsible for providing elevated, attentive service while maintaining a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is confident behind the bar, knowledgeable about cocktails and spirits, and genuinely passionate about hospitality. What you'll do: Craft high-quality cocktails consistently and efficiently Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer Create memorable guest experiences through genuine hospitality Build relationships with regular guests and new clientele Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Follow proper recipes, specs, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment Identify opportunities to upsell while keeping the experience natural and guest-focused Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume serviceWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Our ideal bartender: Has previous bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale environment Is confident, personable, and comfortable engaging with guests Has strong cocktail and spirits knowledge Understands the importance of presentation and consistency Can multitask while maintaining attention to detail Is reliable, professional, and team-oriented Takes pride in their craft and appearance Knows how to read a room and adapt their service to the guest Holds a valid Florida Responsible Vendor certification or is willing to obtain oneEXPERIENCE MATTERS
