Job Description

Overview Join our team in a fast growing hospitality group known as WHG or Watershed Hospitality Group, as a bartender, where your passion for craft cocktails, fine beverages, and exceptional customer service will shine. We are looking for experienced bartenders to help out during the upcoming season, which we anticipate will be a very good one. In this lively role, you'll craft and serve a variety of drinks, engage with guests to create memorable experiences, and uphold high standards of food and beverage presentation and safety. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards. Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS system Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction. Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service. Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service needs during events like banquets or catering functions. Uphold all health regulations related to food handling, beverage safety, and responsible alcohol service. Handle cash handling efficiently while processing transactions swiftly during busy hours. Assist in bar management duties when needed, including supervising junior staff or managing shift operations. Skills 2 years or more of bartending experience Extensive experience with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced environments. Knowledge of spirits, brewing processes, craft beer varieties, and food safety standards. Experience working in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak hours. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations accurately. Previous restaurant or food service experience with a focus on hospitality industry standards. Familiarity with food handling procedures and responsible alcohol service practices. Capable of working flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event shifts.
Pay:
$20.00 - $50.00 per hour
