Job Description

SUMMARY Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to clients of bar by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurate, efficient mixing of beverages according to recipes and portion control. Cashier duties as required. . Maintenance of client satisfaction. Reading and abiding by hotel beverage manual. Take inventory of beer, bottled mineral water and cruvinet wine and record on proper sheets. Receive and carefully check Daily Requisition from Storeroom. Prepare juices and garnish items as needed. Mix beverages for guest or wait staff, utilizing beverage control systems as specified in Beverage Manual. Abide by service standards. Complete required paperwork at end of shift. Leave work area clean at end of shift. At end of shift, inventory beer, bottled mineral water, and cruvinet wine and record on proper sheets, attach duplicates to proper inventory sheets. At closing, secure all liquor and bar supplies and make a storeroom requisition. Turn keys over to relief bartender or Manager on duty. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned. The employee is expected to work in other areas of the restaurant when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description. Physical demands o While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear o Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds. o The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls o Position may require reaching with hands and arms Communication o Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers o Must read, write and speak the English language fluently o Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese helpful Prior Luxury F&B service experience required Computer skills o Strong Microsoft Office skills
