Overview We are a contemporary and welcoming sushi restaurant looking for an energetic, friendly, and experienced bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys providing excellent customer service, has strong knowledge of cocktails and beverages, and can work efficiently in a fast paced restaurant environment. Duties Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, sake, and other beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests Take beverage and food orders accurately Make recommendations based on guest preferences Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar Check identification and follow all applicable alcohol service laws Monitor guests responsibly and follow responsible alcohol-service practices Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management Maintain proper inventory of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, and bar supplies Follow all restaurant health, safety, and sanitation standards Executes side works Fosters teamwork Requirements Previous full service restaurant bartending experience Sushi or Japanese restaurant experience is a plus Knowledge of alcohol laws and responsible serving practices Excellent customer service and communication skills Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and transactions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask and remain organized during busy shifts Ability to stand for extended periods Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Join us and be part of an energetic team dedicated to delivering outstanding service!
