Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Red Top Brewhouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving drinks and food with efficiency and attention to detail. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, with the ability to operate a cash register and maintain a clean and organized bar area. Please note tips earned are not factored into the listed pay on Indeed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve drinks and food with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage cash handling and operate a POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and ingredients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain a positive attitude, with a focus on teamwork and communication.

Experience:

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a bartending or food service role.
• Familiarity with catering and special event service is an asset.
• Strong Beer Knowledge a major plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Experience with cash registers and POS systems.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills and a focus on providing a positive experience for all patrons.

Skills:

• Proficiency in retail math and cash handling.
• Experience in the food industry and familiarity with food safety practices.
• Ability to operate a POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of catering and special event service is an asset.
