Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS platforms. Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure smooth operations. Develop new beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and cater to guest preferences. Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service during busy periods, special events, or banquets. Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption to promote safety. Requirements Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of mixology techniques and cocktail creation. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of beverage ingredients including spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and cocktail recipes. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality service standards. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and food industry operations. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality settings. Food safety certification or knowledge of food handling procedures is preferred but not mandatory.
