In this vital support role, you will assist bartenders by maintaining a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies, and ensuring all beverage and food service areas meet safety standards. Responsibilities Assist bartenders by restocking alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other bar supplies promptly and accurately Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring compliance with food service bar safety standards Support food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or assisting with light food handling as needed Buss tables and clear empty glasses or dishes from the bar area efficiently to keep the space tidy and inviting Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies or equipment safely and according to safety protocols Support venue beverage service by ensuring all tools and ingredients are readily available for bartenders during busy hours Use POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to assist with cash handling or order processing when required Experience Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable, especially in bars, restaurants, nightclubs, or catering settings Familiarity with bar cleaning procedures, food handling safety standards, and beverage service operations is preferred Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS will be advantageous Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and ensure smooth service flow Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling throughout shifts Knowledge of food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety compliance, and customer service excellence is a plus Prior experience in nightclub or banquet environments can be beneficial for adapting quickly to high-energy settings Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where guests feel welcomed and valued!
