Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Manage multiple drink orders efficiently using POS systems such as Genius or Toast, ensuring accurate processing of cash transactions and tabs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, tools, and supplies, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving; collaborate with security staff when necessary. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of beverages and supplies; communicate needs for restocking or ordering new items. Support bar management in maintaining compliance with licensing laws, health regulations, and safety standards across the hospitality industry. Skills Extensive cocktail experience with a strong understanding of mixology techniques and beverage recipe development. Knowledge of wine varieties, brewing processes, spirits, and craft beer trends to enhance guest recommendations. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders seamlessly. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours without compromising quality. Previous bartending experience is a must.
